# ConfigKit v0.4.1
This release formalizes ConfigKit's licensing and upstream attribution
documentation without changing library behavior.
## Summary
ConfigKit now includes an explicit LGPL-3.0-or-later grant in COPYRIGHT,
complete LGPLv3 and incorporated GPLv3 license texts, and centralized upstream
attribution. README and release guidance provide navigation to those materials.
## Compatibility
No Go code, public API, configuration semantics, diagnostic behavior, or
dependencies changed from v0.4.0. The minimum Go version remains 1.25, Linux
remains release-validated, and macOS remains best-effort. The YAML dependency
remains `go.yaml.in/yaml/v4 v4.0.0-rc.6`.
The project grant is explicitly LGPL-3.0-or-later. Third-party material remains
subject to its respective terms, recorded in the attribution document below.
Published earlier releases are unchanged.
## Upgrade
Update the module dependency and rebuild to select this release:
```sh
go get gitea.maximumdirect.net/eric/ConfigKit@v0.4.1
```
No application-code or configuration migration is required from v0.4.0.
## Changes
- Add the project COPYRIGHT statement and complete standard project license texts.
- Document go-yaml attribution with exact upstream revision links and local
Apache-2.0 and MIT license texts.
- Adopt the house OSS policy and connect licensing ownership and contributor guidance.
- Add license and attribution navigation to README and future release documents,
without adding release gates or changing publication mechanics.
