removing duplicate test/build invocations. Go module metadata distinguishes
filesystem from versioned replacements; workspace and vendor presence are
inert under GOWORK=off and readonly module selection. Focused release-check
tests cover selected command counts, failure propagation, note handling,
replacement behavior, builder targets/version, and destination protections.
