# ConfigKit v0.10.1
released this
2026-10-25 15:11:08 +00:00 | 63 commits to main since this releaseThis patch release consolidates ConfigKit's internal loading machinery and
reduces repeated import bookkeeping. Public APIs and configuration semantics
remain unchanged from v0.10.0.Changes
- Consolidate ordinary and layered input acquisition, including import requests
and selected-overlay handling, while retaining their distinct context and
precedence rules. Remove unused private reverse conversions. - Separate import acquisition, scoped composition, and evidence projection;
clarify inheritance preparation, combination, and finalization; and simplify
reflective projection and schema-field assembly responsibilities. - Retain resolved filesystem facts from non-import validation for later passive
resource contexts and ordinary overlays. Remove duplicate absent-host context
derivation while preserving validation timing and handle cleanup. - Record empty optional-import selections directly against their declaring
source, avoiding repeated searches through acquired sources. Index import
dependencies for scope-local edge preparation instead of scanning the whole
inclusion graph for every item scope. Stable dependency-ready ordering,
provenance, and source destinations are preserved. - Expand regression coverage for import evidence ownership, scope boundaries,
and broad main/underlay item imports. Improve
consumer loading guidance and internal documentation.
Compatibility and upgrade
No consumer code or configuration migration is required. Composition, collection
operations, inheritance, discovery, CLI precedence, source-version checks, and
inspection retain their existing contracts.Select this version and rebuild:
go get gitea.maximumdirect.net/eric/ConfigKit@v0.10.1The consumer minimum remains Go 1.26.0. Dependencies and platform support are
unchanged. Publication follows the existing release procedure.Downloads
