The upstream NOTICE identifies the libyaml-derived portion as MIT-licensed and
the remaining project files as Apache-2.0-licensed; these are not alternative
licenses for the entire module. The statements above preserve the NOTICE's
wording. The module declares no additional Go module requirements.

## Author-owned adaptations

On 2026-09-26, Eric Rakestraw confirmed that he is the sole author of ConfigKit,
Narratio, and WeatherReporter and expressly authorized relicensing the
Narratio and WeatherReporter adaptations incorporated into ConfigKit under
LGPL-3.0-or-later. This records explicit authorization, not an inference from
common ownership. It does not change the historical upstream grants, relicense
third-party dependencies, or rewrite published releases.

The following statements use ConfigKit's author-selected grant and copyright
notice for the incorporated adaptations. The [extraction inventory](../internal/extraction.md)
records their implementation provenance and distinguishes adaptations from
application-only evidence.
